To support and strengthen the ARISE objectives, training and education activities are of high importance. Young researchers involved in the ARISE AL strategic research projects will be trained not only in research skills but will also be encouraged to develop their soft skills in many diverse areas like communication, entrepreneurship, and management. Each researcher of the ARISE AL will have a personal career development plan which, for early stage researchers, will include the possibility of obtaining a Ph.D. in an associated academic institution. The ARISE LA, through the institutions that support it, plays an active role in several doctoral and master programs. Some examples include:

PhD Programs

  1. Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering
  2. Doctoral Program on Steel and Composite Construction
  3. Doctoral Program in Mechanical Engineering
  4. Doctoral Program on Advanced Materials and Processing
  5. Doctoral Program in Direct Digital Manufacturing for the Polymers and Moulds Industries
  6. Doctoral Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering
  7. Doctoral Program in Informatics Engineering
  8. European Joint Doctorates (EJD) on Green Tribology for Sustainable Engineering (GreenTribos)
